When Chuba Hubbard's injury handed Dowdle the Carolina backfield, he detonated, back-to-back 30+ PPR games in Weeks 5 and 6 (23 carries for 206 yards, then 30 for 183). Nova already prices all of this in. A 50% carry share and 11% target share, his actual 2025 usage in a similar committee, is exactly what an 810-yard, 30-catch projection looks like. The model isn't skeptical of the coach-speak; it's taking it literally.

If everything goes right: McCarthy's between-the-tackles plan hardens into a 250-touch role, Dowdle owns the goal line in a Rodgers farewell offense that scores, and a Warren soft-tissue injury hands him a month of Weeks 5–6 reruns. That's the 327-point ceiling, top of the RB18 band, and Nova puts a tier-2-or-better season at 36%.

If everything goes wrong: the "two fresh backs" split stays literal, Warren's efficiency edge wins the hot hand by October, and Dowdle settles into 8-touch games with a 45% weekly bust rate, or an injury drops him toward the 43-point floor.
