Privacy Policy

NovaPredict is an AI fantasy-football analytics web app. We collect as little as possible. Analytics consent defaults to denied, so nothing is measured until you accept in the banner. We do not sell your personal data. Here is exactly what we collect and why.

What we collect, and why

Anonymized usage analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which tools get used and where pages are slow. It sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies and is only turned on after you accept in the cookie banner. Consent defaults to denied, so nothing is measured until you opt in.

An email address, only if you give us one

If you submit an email to the Ask Nova tool or a newsletter signup, we keep it so we can reply or send what you asked for. If you never submit one, we never have it. We do not sell it or share it for marketing.

Standard server and request logs

Like any web host, our servers keep short-lived request logs (IP address, browser, page requested). These help us keep the site up and diagnose errors. They are not tied to a profile of you.

The third parties we rely on

We use Google Analytics for anonymized usage measurement and Vercel to host and serve the site. Both process data to make NovaPredict work. We do not sell personal data to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep data

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, then it expires automatically. Server logs are short-lived. If you sent us an email, we keep it only as long as we need it to reply or run what you signed up for.

How to opt out of analytics

Choose Decline in the cookie banner to keep analytics off. Consent already defaults to denied under Google Consent Mode, so if you do nothing, nothing is measured. To reset a previous choice, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner shows again. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, which the site respects. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

NovaPredict Draft Sync (Chrome extension)

The NovaPredict Draft Sync browser extension reads the completed picks already shown in your fantasy football draft room on ESPN, Yahoo, CBS Sports, or Sleeper, and passes them to the Draft War Room open in another tab of the same browser.

It collects nothing. It has no server of its own and contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or remote code. The only information it handles is your draft board: drafted player names, positions, and pick numbers, plus the platform’s list of available players. That information moves between two tabs on your own computer and nowhere else. It is held in your browser’s local extension storage so a War Room tab opened mid-draft still receives the current board.

On ESPN, the extension asks ESPN’s own fantasy API for your draft directly instead of reading it off the page, because that returns the picks exactly. It is the same service the ESPN page itself uses, the request carries your existing ESPN session so it can see your own league, and it only ever reads. That request goes to ESPN and nowhere else. No other server is contacted, and nothing is sent to NovaPredict or to any third party.

The extension is read-only. It never drafts, clicks, or changes anything in your draft room, never requests or stores your fantasy platform login, never reads pages other than the supported draft rooms and NovaPredict, and never sells or transfers data to third parties. Uninstalling it deletes everything it stored; you can also remove it at any time from chrome://extensions.

Questions or requests

If you want to know what we hold or ask us to delete it, you can reach us through the site, including the Ask Nova tool. This is an early build and this policy may change as the product grows.
