NovaPredict uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items. Analytics consent defaults to denied. Nothing is measured until you accept in the banner. Here is exactly what we set and why.
What we store, and why
Google Analytics (GA4)
Anonymized usage analytics. These tell us which tools get used and where pages are slow, so we can improve the product. They are only set after you accept in the cookie banner. Consent defaults to denied, so nothing is measured until you opt in.
Theme preference
A localStorage item that remembers whether you chose the dark or light theme, so the site loads in your preferred mode without a flash. It never leaves your browser and is not used for tracking.
Your consent choice
A localStorage item that records whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we do not ask again on every visit. It stores only 'granted' or 'denied'.
Consent defaults to denied
Analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization all start denied under Google Consent Mode. We only switch analytics on after you accept. If you decline, we keep them off and remember that choice. Theme preference works either way, since it is not tracking.
How to opt out or change your mind
Choose Decline in the cookie banner to keep analytics off. To reset a previous choice, clear this site's data in your browser (or delete the nova-cookie-consent item) and the banner shows again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies entirely through your browser settings, which the site respects.
