Season Budget

The season is a point pool.

Every player starts with a preseason Nova Budget, their projected full-season points. Each week draws that pool down by what they actually score. We track it against the pace they were supposed to hold (budget ÷ active weeks) and flag who’s pulling ahead, falling behind, or holding serve. That pace signal feeds trades, start/sit, and buy-low / sell-high calls.
