PPR Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet 2026: How to Draft the Format

PPR fantasy football cheat sheet for 2026 drafts: download the PDF, see what changes in PPR, and use tiers, ADP, byes, and VORP.

A PPR fantasy football cheat sheet has to be built for receptions. Full-point PPR gives one point for every catch, so target volume matters more, pass-catching running backs rise, possession receivers become safer, and touchdown-only profiles get thinner.

If you just need the printable file, start with the 2026 fantasy football cheat sheet PDF. If you want to understand how to use it in a PPR draft, this guide gives you the format logic.

The short answer

A PPR fantasy football cheat sheet should rank players for full-point reception scoring, not standard scoring. The sheet should show PPR rank, position, tier, bye week, ADP, and value over replacement so you can see both the scoring boost and the draft cost.

Download the fantasy football cheat sheet PDF for the printable version, then open the live rankings and set the format to PPR before you draft.

Current PPR cheat sheet leaders

The August 26, 2026 NovaPredict PPR board uses 7,830 current PPR drafts from August 19 to August 26, plus current player/status data and refreshed market-context inputs. It is still a directional draft-prep board, not an in-season accuracy record.

PPR Rank Player Pos Team Tier VORP PPR ADP
1 Jahmyr Gibbs RB DET T1 163.6 1.01
2 Bijan Robinson RB ATL T2 142.9 1.02
3 Puka Nacua WR LA T2 150.1 1.03
4 Ja'Marr Chase WR CIN T2 145.9 1.04
5 Amon-Ra St. Brown WR DET T3 131.1 1.06
6 Christian McCaffrey RB SF T3 127.2 1.07
7 Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR SEA T3 116.1 1.05
8 Trey McBride TE ARI T3 111.2 3.05
9 Brock Bowers TE LV T3 108.4 3.11
10 CeeDee Lamb WR DAL T3 105.7 1.11

The board is not simply pushing wide receivers up because the scoring says PPR. The current sheet still has two running backs at the top, two tight ends inside the top 10 by value, and a clear reminder that scarcity matters as much as raw reception volume.

What changes in PPR

PPR changes value because catches are bankable points. A receiver who catches seven passes for 70 yards scores 14 PPR points before touchdowns. In standard scoring, that same line is only 7 points.

That shift affects every position:

  • Wide receivers with target volume rise. Receptions turn weekly usage into floor.
  • Pass-catching running backs rise. A back with four catches can survive a quiet rushing day.
  • Touchdown-dependent players fall. If the player needs a score to matter, PPR exposes the risk.
  • Tight ends with real target share matter. A tight end running routes and earning targets beats a touchdown-only streamer.
  • Quarterback value changes less. QBs do not catch passes, so scarcity and league format matter more than PPR itself.

PPR cheat sheet priority table

Player type PPR effect Draft note
High-target WR Rises Receptions create weekly floor
Pass-catching RB Rises Catches protect weak rushing scripts
Route-running TE Rises Target share matters more than touchdown luck
Early-down RB only Falls slightly Needs rushing volume or touchdowns
Deep-threat WR only More volatile Ceiling is useful, but catches are not guaranteed
Superflex QB Depends on format Superflex matters more than PPR itself

What your PPR cheat sheet should show

Your PPR draft cheat sheet should include:

Field Why it matters
PPR rank The format-specific order
Tier Whether the next group is about to drop
Bye week Roster risk before it becomes a lineup problem
ADP The room price
VORP The player's edge over replacement
Floor and ceiling Whether you are buying stability or spike weeks

The mistake is sorting by projected points and calling it a sheet. PPR still requires value over replacement. If replacement wide receivers are strong and replacement tight ends are weak, a lower-scoring tight end can still be the better pick. VORP explains why.

PPR draft rules that actually help

Use these rules when the clock starts:

  1. Do not chase receptions without value. A player can catch passes and still be overpriced.
  2. Treat target share as floor, not ceiling.
  3. Use tiers to avoid taking the first player after a cliff.
  4. Compare every pick to ADP so you know whether you are paying a tax.
  5. In late rounds, chase roles that can grow, not WR5s with no path to weekly use.
  6. Keep bye weeks visible. PPR depth does not fix three starters missing the same week.

The live rankings let you switch formats, and the Draft War Room applies the same value logic during the draft.

How to use the PPR sheet on draft day

Use the sheet in this order:

  1. Confirm your league really is full PPR, not half PPR.
  2. Print the cheat sheet PDF the day of your draft.
  3. Mark the players in the final tier at each position.
  4. Watch RB and WR tiers together instead of drafting one position blindly.
  5. Use draft order strategy to decide whether a tier will survive back to you.
  6. Use the AI fantasy football draft assistant when the room starts moving.

PPR by roster build

Hero RB. Take one early running back with a strong role, then lean into wide receiver depth and pass-catching backs later.

Zero RB. Hammer receivers, tight end, and quarterback value early, then draft backs whose receiving roles can grow.

WR-heavy. PPR supports this build, but only if you still respect positional cliffs at running back and tight end.

Balanced. Take value as it falls. PPR does not force a single build. It rewards managers who know what a reception is worth without overpaying for it.

FAQ

What is a PPR fantasy football cheat sheet? It is a draft sheet built for points-per-reception scoring, where every catch adds one fantasy point.

How is PPR different from standard scoring? PPR adds one point per catch. Standard scoring does not, so touchdowns and yardage matter more relative to reception volume.

Who rises in PPR drafts? High-target wide receivers, pass-catching running backs, and route-running tight ends rise because receptions create weekly floor.

Should I draft wide receivers earlier in PPR? Often, but not blindly. Draft the best value by tier and replacement level, not just the position with more receptions.

Is a PPR cheat sheet different from a normal cheat sheet? Yes. The scoring changes player values enough that you should use a PPR-specific board.

Where can I download a PPR cheat sheet PDF? Use the NovaPredict printable cheat sheet PDF, which includes a PPR overall snapshot and position boards.

What should be on a PPR cheat sheet? A PPR sheet should show position, rank, tier, bye, ADP, and a value signal. Receptions matter, but draft cost still decides whether the pick is good.

Is PPR better for Zero RB? PPR can support Zero RB because wide receiver volume is stronger and pass-catching backs can become useful later, but the build still depends on value and room flow.

Should I use a position cheat sheet for PPR? Yes, but keep the overall board visible. Position sheets help comparisons inside QB, RB, WR, and TE, while the overall board tells you which position is the better value.

Draft PPR from a PPR board

Open NovaPredict, set the rankings to PPR, and keep the printable sheet beside you. The format rewards volume, but the draft is still won by value. For position-by-position scanning, use the fantasy football cheat sheet by position.
